Block of flats Martin - Ľadoveň

The block of flats is situated in the street V. Šípoša in Martin (housing estate Ľadoveň).
In the beginning there was an unfinished skeleton of a gym standing in the middle of prefab concrete buildings. The client decided to use the skeleton and change its original purpose to a completely different building – a block of flats.
The most important task was to prepare such a spatial design that would enable the use of the 18-metre-wide, 36-metre-long and 10-metre-high gym section. The proposed design formed thirteen flat units with both a traditional and untraditional internal layout.
