Office building Skanska

The building is situated out of the historical centre of the town of Martin, in the industrial zone.
The basic approach to the recon- struction was the effort to change the building itself in terms of external architecture as well as internal layout as little as possible. Despite this effort, however, it was necessary to change the street facade which resulted from the change of the main entrance to the building. The entrance was created with glassed walls and it protrudes from the facade as a new shape form using some elements of the original set of parts of the facade. The combi- nation of modern and historicising elements was used for the architectonic design.
