SSM Strážske Steelworks – on-site railway sidings (2014)

The project addressed the construction of the railway substructure and superstructure of industrial siding tracks within the steelworks plant in Strážske.
The internal railway sidings were designed in the northern and southern parts of the plant. As part of the construction of the siding tracks, dynamic rail scales for weighing rail vehicles at the entry to and exit from the steelworks were also included. A radiation monitoring system was also designed at the entrance to the steelworks to monitor the radioactivity of scrap and raw materials transported to the steelworks by rail.
